So this chip - in was originally started for Mistle-toes, but seems like we will need more money for another surgery this year. Antoine will be going in today for surgery on his broken leg and we desperately need help to cover these costs. if you can help in any way, please do.

Mistletoes is a beautiful baby girl, who has had to do a lot of living in her short life. Sadly, at 7 weeks of age she was abandoned at the shelter. Confused, she still wiggled and wowed the crowds, everyone wondering what breed of dog she was. Unsure, shelter staff asked us to take her in and give her some time to grow into her looks. She is a wonderful gal in a wonderful foster home, having completed puppy class with flying colours, living and breathing and happy...

Well, until yesterday.

She was not keeping food or water down and her quick thinking foster mom brought her in for observation. The xrays were inconclusive and she seemed to be doing better. This morning, that could not be further from the truth. She is in pain, and still unable to eat or drink enough to keep her strong. We are moving forward with surgery under the assumption she has a blockage.

This kid has not had it easy, being abadoned at the sheter, and not even 5 months old she will need surgery. We are asking for help so Mistletoes can continue to, regardless of the time of year, give everyone a reason to keep on sharing kisses.
